About The artist
I first picked up a camera many years ago, when I had a nasty fall on a ski vacation to Lake Louise, tearing my ACL and damaging numerous other parts of my knee. Trying to make the best of the trip and me being almost useless on the hill, I started taking photos of my friends skiing. I have not put down the camera since.

Photography has inspired me to look at the world through a different perspective. I am always looking at the way lines form, objects are shaped, and lighting falls on a subject.

I am now working as a freelance photographer. I started off shooting editorial and have expanded into commercial and portraiture photography. My wide variety of contracts have taken me around the country to places I’ve always wanted to go and some beautiful places I never knew existed. Photography has given me the opportunity to meet many interesting people and make many new friends. I am greatful it has given me the opportunity to see some very amazing things the world has to offer.

Photography has opened up a whole new door to my life that I never knew existed until that one life changing accident on the ski hill. Even though I still live with the pain of that injury today, I will never regret having that happen to me for I would never be where I am today and experience the success and creativeness that I achieved with every job I do.
